More and more often Mondayjazz is becoming a media for the young talented beat makers. This makes you hear music, which was never been released and in most of the cases has never been published before.
We are talking about the generation, which was raised on video games consoles instead of playing football in the yard.
Mondayjazz presents another hero from the US cyber underground – See Visions, who also runs the project Cozmos. Both projects by the same man you can dig up on different myspace profiles.
The compilation Other Sides of Cozmos includes tracks from both the projects – See Visions and Cozmos adding variety with rare compositions from other talents.
It is not an easy piece, and if you turned us on to imitate the holidays, we are sorry. Although it is an eclectic compilation and complicated improvisations can be changed suddenly to mellow instrumentals and nice 'n' easy retro cinematic and jazz samples.
Worth noting are the spacey 8-bit beats and also the artist's ability to play on the mood of the track and listener. The moment of sunny bosa nova suddenly turns into dark storm from the space of the Sun god Ra.
It is good heavy shit!
