about

The sophomore album from Cozmos and Mantis. This time around, the sound turns much darker and the lyrics more introspective. Production wise, the album shows Cozmos's ever evolving style, from smooth samples to glitchy drum chops, blended perfectly with some of our favorite live musicians. On the vocal side, Tony tells his stories of woe and heart ache, whether it has to do with losing a girl, losing his faith, or just plain losing his mind. The earlier tracks are meant to evoke emotion through both music and spoken word, while the later parts of the album progress to a harder, grittier sound that may hint at where The Locksmiths sound is going in the future.
